Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees should boost sports card value

Anyone that witnessed the power display put on by Giancarlo Stanton when he hit 52 home runs last season knows his baseball card value in general was on the upswing.

Anyone that witnessed the power display put on by Giancarlo Stanton when he hit 52 home runs last season knows his baseball card value in general was on the upswing.

And that’s when he played for the Miami Marlins.

Of course, that bump in value could disappear if he has consistently poor or less than expected production at the plate.

For now, it’s good news for owners of Stanton’s high-end and rookie card collectors.

Speaking of high end, here’s the 2014 Topps High Tek autographed card with a perfect PRISTINE Black Label grading (listed at $10K).

On a side note, Stanton will also be playing alongside last season’s home run king – Aaron Judge!
