There are 10 notable names (nine players and one executive) that make up the list of 10 on the Modern Baseball Era Hall of Fame ballot.
You can see all the names here, but the one I’ll be closely watching is the former New York Yankees first baseman Don Mattingly.
The multiple All-Star and Gold Glove winner, Mattingly has had a great career. Some of his stats over his 14-year career include a batting average of .307, 222 home runs, 1,099 RBIs, and a winning managerial record winning more than 600 games.
Of all his rookies to own and one that can see an upswing is his 1984 Topps Tiffany rookie card, which had the glossy front (but otherwise the same as the regular 1984 Topps set).
Another notable rookie card is his 1984 Donruss rookie card, which is also hard to find in gem mint condition. There’s one on eBay for $695.
