Considering Joc Pederson wasn’t even a sure thing to be added onto the World Series active roster for the Los Angeles Dodgers, it’s amazing what he’s accomplished so far.
First, Pederson hit a game-tying home run in Game 2 against Justin Verlander and then he hit the much-needed three-run home run in the ninth inning to give extra insurance for the Dodgers to secure the win in Game 4.
For Dodgers fans, it’s a great time to break out of a prolonged slump. Whether or not he can continue his hot hitting beyond this World Series is still a big question.
The uncertainty has driven the price of his 2012 Bowman Chrome autograph rookie card way down.
It could be a good bargain but time will tell.
