Justin Verlander carries forward Astros pitching success to Game 2 of NLCS

The Houston Astros took a quick 2-0 series lead with another dominant pitching performance by Justin Verlander.

First it was Dallas Keuchel in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series who struck out 10 batters last night.

Today, it was Verlander with a complete game 13-strikeout performance.

He’s become a really nice pick up for the Astros who has played for the majority of his career with the Detroit Tigers as the team’s ace.

Here are a couple of his rookie cards that might be worthwhile to invest in.

  1. 2005 Topps Chrome Autograph RC/500 (BGS 9.5/10) Refractor Auto – $350

2. 2005 Bowman Chrome GOLD Refractor #38/50 AUTO (BGS 9.5/10) – $1,499
