Yankees Didi Gregorius hits two home runs off Cy Young candidate

Any player that hits two home runs in a do-or-die Game 5 off a pitcher who is favored to win the Cy Young  deserves some credit for his performance.

Screen Shot 2017-10-11 at 10.04.51 PM.pngThat player is New York Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius who hit two home runs in his first two at-bats against Corey Kluber.

With the winner of Game 5 in the American League Division Series moving on to the American League Championship Series, Gregorius has certainly helped give the Yankees a chance to do just that.

Just as special in the hobby is collecting 1/1 Superfractors of players like this one for Gregorius – a 2013 Topps Finest Patch Superfractor (Ungraded) currently on eBay for $799 (back when he played for the Arizona Diamondbacks).

Here’s a tip of the hat to the Yankee shortstop.
