If you haven’t heard already, after Hurricane Harvey hit the City of Houston, it was J.J. Watt who was able to do what he can to raise funds for all those impacted by the devastating hurricane.
A simple call out to help saw many people, groups, businesses and even other football organizations donate. When all was said and done, Watt’s efforts brought in more than $37 million.
“If there is one thing that I have taken away from these last few weeks, it is the reassurance of how much good is out there in our world. When times are the toughest, humanity stands at its strongest and you have all helped to prove that emphatically,” Watts said in a statement Friday.
We commend Watt for getting the ball rolling to help so many in need.
Here’s a couple of cards we like of Watt, wishing him success both on and off the gridiron.
