A look at one sweet Ted Williams’ autograph relic card with his record still intact

Cincinnati Reds’ Joey Votto was one game away of tying the great Ted Williams for reaching base at least twice in 21 consecutive games (click link to see the post with links to his autograph rookie card).

He went 1 for 4 on Wednesday, however, ending his streak at 20, which means Williams’ 21-game streak is still intact.

Today, we want to acknowledge Williams’ who also put up other great numbers like a career batting average of .344 with an OBP of .482, and 521 home runs.

This 2016 National Treasures book card of Williams has his signature (on what appears to be a personal cheque) and on the other side a fair sized patch. Click the link here to see the posting on eBay, currently going for $1,500.
