A matter of time until birthday boy Mike Trout joins Hall of Fame, rookie cards nice to have now

It’s obvious that Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is in a class of his own.

The power, speed, average and defensive skills are legit. But even still, Trout who turns just 26 years old today might still not be appreciated enough for what he’s already accomplished.

Many of his numbers already rival Hall of Famers (see the link in the tweet below for a good video representation of how he stacks up).

If you’re lucky to have his 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft autograph rookie card, it seems to be inevitable that despite the high price tag now, it’ll only climb higher as his career progresses.

Here’s a base autograph rookie (BGS Graded 9.5/10) that’s available currently for $4,550.

Here’s a refractor version numbered to 500 (BGS Graded 9.5/10) valued at $7,999.99.

And for the high rollers, here’s the blue refractor numbered to 150 (BGS Graded 9.5/10) valued at $19,999.

And here’s a previous post outlining the top 3 Trout rookie cards we like.
