Astros Jose Altuve is doing something this month that no player has for 105 seasons – except for Ty Cobb

Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve deserves more respect for something he’s done so far in July that no other player has accomplished for the past 105 seasons (except the great Ty Cobb) – hit over .500 this month to date.

We wrote about his top 3 rookie cards that any Altuve fan should collect (click on the story link to see the cards for yourself and purchase on eBay). And most are relatively affordable despite all his accomplishments.

That’s most likely due to the fact his rookie cards don’t consist of autographs and relics. They’re also readily available although the ones that are graded higher have more value.

While most hobbyists go after

rookie and prospect cards of players first, here’s a couple non-rookie cards of Altuve we like just as much.

2015 Topps High Tek Gold Rainbow autograph (/50) (BGS Graded 9.5/10)

He may not have much autographed cards as a rookie or a prospect, but there are more cards signed in the peak of his career.

This Topps High Tek Gold Rainbow card is autographed and in great shape with a BGS Grade of 9.5/10.

VALUE: $99.99 (as of July 2017)

While it’s from the 2016 Topps Chrome set, this autographed card is a throwback of sorts featuring a photo of his MLB Debut back in July 2011.

Like the card above it, it’s also serial numbered to just /50 and graded nicely by Beckett – 9.5/10.

VALUE: $250 (as of July 2017)
