I have a soft spot for the Topps Allen & Ginter trading cards.
The uniqueness of some of the subsets mixed in with the more traditional baseball cards always grabs my interest.
For those looking to make a buck, from my personal experience, Allen & Ginter isn’t close to returning its monetary value, especially with all those relic cards and autographs from fringe players and B-list celebrities.
But I have to admit, it’s still fun to see what you end up getting. In fact, I hope to get those mini non-baseball autographed cards.
Last year’s selection was a little disappointing, but this year there are some really nice ones – William Shatner, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy!), and Floyd Mayweather to name a few.
