REVIEW: 2017 Donruss Baseball (release date: March 8)

Those looking for alternatives to the Topps brand can look forward to the release of Panini America’s 2017 Donruss Baseball hobby box tomorrow.

Any nostalgic collector would appreciate the throwback look of the cards, which stay true to the Donruss brand, especially the Rated Rookies and Diamond Kings subset.

Screen Shot 2017-03-07 at 9.45.05 AM.pngThere are some new additions to this year’s set such as the Whammy insert card featuring artist drawn superstars (one per case on average).

And there’s plenty of variation cards in the set as well (ie. Aqueous Tests, Pink Back and Blue Back, nickname cards).

Each hobby box has 24 packs with eight cards per pack, and comes with three hits (autograph OR relic cards) on average.
